Jefe de Producción – Operaciones de Manufactura

About the role

The company is looking for a Production Manager to lead large‑scale manufacturing operations in Coyol, Alajuela. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with managerial directives, driving continuous improvement, and meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce managerial guidelines across the production department.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee large, complex work teams and ensure effective coordination of manufacturing activities.
• Manage projects aimed at process optimization and cost reduction.

Required profile

• University degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience leading large, complex manufacturing teams.
• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with data‑driven decision making and KPI management.
• Advanced or proficient English language skills.
