About the role
The IT Support Specialist provides first‑line response to end‑user incidents and operational requests, ensuring rapid restoration of productivity after technology failures. The role blends on‑site configuration with remote assistance and requires strong collaboration with a global support team.
Key responsibilities
- Accept and fulfill travel requests for on‑site configuration and support at satellite or regional offices.
- Assist the Regional Technology Director and local IT Manager in educating users about desktop policies and enforcing them.
- Maintain relationships with firm‑wide functional teams (server, storage, email, security).
- Visit clients to assess hardware and software needs and provide recommendations that align with firm standards.
- Manage inventory of desktops and laptops for new hires and temporary replacements.
- Triage service‑desk incident queues, prioritize tickets, and ensure critical incidents are addressed promptly.
- Create and maintain Excel and Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Administer SharePoint sites, Active Directory groups, imaging and deployment processes, and MAC devices.
- Provide application, meeting‑room, and event‑based A/V support.
- Assist with server virtualization, automation, and general software support.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of IT support experience in large, dynamic environments.
- Strong ownership mindset and excellent customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to communicate clearly across distributed teams and share knowledge proactively.
- Capacity to minimize end‑user downtime through efficient problem‑solving.
