IT Onboarding Engineer

About the role

First Factory is looking for an IT Onboarding Engineer to lead technical executions for new client partnerships. You will set up, modernise, and secure IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth transitions and high‑quality client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and execute technical build‑outs for new client onboardings.
• Deploy core services such as endpoint management, backup, email security, DNS/DKIM/SPF, routing rules, and alerting.
• Secure access, coordinate tool removal with outgoing IT teams, and manage platform migrations (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation in ticketing and knowledge‑base platforms (Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, ConnectWise, IT Glue, RocketLane) at least every two days.
• Execute technical off‑boarding for departing clients, decommissioning access and archiving data.
• Support onsite technicians on network connectivity projects and ensure accurate site documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine onboarding templates, process documentation, and closure procedures.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in systems engineering, IT support, or technical delivery within an MSP, enterprise IT, or BPO environment.
• Proven experience managing diverse business IT environments, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network configurations, email routing, and authentication protocols.
