Internal Communications Specialist Lead

About the role

Deloitte’s Marketing, Brand & Communications team is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist Lead to craft innovative campaigns that engage professionals across multiple channels. You will combine creativity, strategic thinking, and analytics to strengthen culture and ensure vital messages land with impact.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling internal communications strategies that activate and educate internal audiences.
• Drive engagement of leadership and professionals around high‑profile campaigns and initiatives.
• Participate in messaging and strategy sessions with Green Dot Communications colleagues, marketers, and subject‑matter experts.
• Collaborate with campaign managers, designers, and digital producers to develop innovative assets.
• Conceptualize, write, and edit articles, talking points, web copy, leadership emails, scripts, and other collateral.
• Proofread and edit materials, ensuring quality and alignment with Deloitte brand guidelines.
• Collect stakeholder feedback, manage multiple deadlines, and adhere to legal/risk guidelines.
• Analyze metrics to recommend effective channels and messages.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of communicating priorities, mitigating impacts, and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Executive presence to present ideas, make recommendations, and advise senior leaders on communications strategy.
• Proven track record of juggling multiple projects without oversight.
• Polished interpersonal skills and comfort leading conversations with senior leaders.
• Strategic and conceptual thinking that balances creativity with business priorities.
