Inside Sales / Assistant Commercial – International Logistics

About the role

MGF Costa Rica is seeking an Inside Sales / Assistant Commercial professional to join its commercial team and support the growth of international logistics services. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related fields who want to develop a career in sales.

Key responsibilities

• Support the commercial team in developing new business opportunities.
• Follow up with clients, prospects, and commercial leads.
• Prepare and track quotations for logistics services.
• Coordinate internally with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service departments.
• Manage commercial proposals and tender processes.
• Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client and opportunity records.
• Assist with commercial prospecting activities.
• Generate sales reports and performance indicators.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, international trade, customer service, pricing, operations, sales or commercial support.
• High school diploma; preferably studies in International Trade, Logistics, Administration, Marketing or related fields.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, initiative and customer‑orientation.
• Motivation to grow professionally in a commercial role.
