Injection Molding Field Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Field Service Technician to provide on‑site technical support to our medical‑equipment customers throughout Costa Rica and neighboring countries. You will travel daily to client sites, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure rapid, high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within the timelines set by the Service Coordinator.
• Prepare for each assignment by verifying service type and gathering required tools and equipment.
• Perform accurate diagnosis of injection molding machines, interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and document findings.
• Complete service authorization forms, record part numbers, and recommend spare‑part replacements.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders, providing status updates and detailed service reports.
• Return shared tools in good condition and report any damage.
• Support sales teams with commercial information and promote service hours and MAP.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and maintaining injection molding equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Active passport and willingness to travel to nearby countries (e.g., Guatemala, Colombia).
