About the role
The Electromechanical Engineer Supervisor will lead the assembly and commissioning of electromechanical systems for a wind‑park project. Working on site, you will ensure that all works are performed in strict accordance with approved engineering, technical specifications, contractual requirements, manufacturer manuals and applicable standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the installation of medium‑voltage electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, panels, conduit, power, control and communications cabling, grounding and protection systems.
- Verify compliance with IFC drawings, technical specifications, calculation memoranda, manufacturer manuals and As‑Built documents.
- Identify and report deviations, non‑conformities and construction errors that could affect safety, quality, cost, schedule or performance.
- Document progress, findings and technical reports with photographic evidence.
- Maintain traceability of all documentation and ensure proper hand‑over to commissioning teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical or related engineering; current registration with CFIA.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in execution, inspection, supervision or residence of electromechanical works.
- Proven experience with medium‑voltage installations (transformers, switchgear, panels, conduit, cabling, grounding and protection).
- Ability to read and interpret IFC and As‑Built drawings, technical specifications and manufacturer manuals.
- Knowledge of IEC, NEC/NFPA and occupational safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Valid driver’s licence and availability for permanent on‑site work.
