Infrastructure Sr Supervisor

About the role

The Infrastructure Sr Supervisor will lead technical execution, operational support, and continuous optimization of live streaming services, corporate webcasts, and large‑scale virtual events for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and monitor end‑to‑end live broadcasts for high‑visibility corporate events, managing encoders such as Haivision, Teradek, OBS Studio, Wirecast, and vMix.
• Operate Enterprise Video Content Management platforms (Vbrick, Qumu, Kaltura, etc.) and integrate audio/video feeds from studios and videoconferencing tools (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex).
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Information Security to configure and optimize eCDN and P2P solutions (Hive Streaming, Kollective, Ramp) and apply QoS policies.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support during live events, troubleshoot buffering, desync, and authentication issues, and manage incident lifecycle with internal and external teams.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and architecture documentation, evaluate new streaming technologies, and deliver training to regional support teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in media technology operations, broadcast engineering, or enterprise‑scale video streaming platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; fluency in English (written and spoken) required.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, communicate with executive stakeholders, and coordinate across multicultural, distributed teams.

• Streaming protocols: RTMP/RTMPS, SRT, HLS, DASH, RTSP, WebRTC.
• Video/audio codecs: H.264, H.265, AAC, Opus.
• EVCM platforms: Vbrick, Qumu, Panopto, Kaltura, Microsoft Stream.
• eCDN/P2P solutions: Hive, Kollective, Ramp, public CDNs (Akamai, Cloudflare).
• Collaboration tools integration: Zoom ISO/Rooms, MS Teams Live Events, Webex.
• Operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux; network analysis tools: Wireshark, Charles Proxy.
