Infrastructure Solution Architect

About the role

TATA Consultancy Services is looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance infrastructure solutions for mission‑critical systems. You will work closely with DBA, DevOps, and application teams to ensure resilience, high availability, and effective disaster recovery across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing architectural guidance and documentation.
• Define and implement high‑availability, scalability, and disaster‑recovery strategies (RTO/RPO).
• Lead architecture decisions following enterprise standards and serve as a subject‑matter expert for databases.
• Design data solutions including replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including managed database services.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Drive continuous optimization and innovation across platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DBA and/or solution architecture.
• Advanced mid‑level or senior profile with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• On‑site work mode, full‑time engagement, and advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Managed database services (RDS, Azure SQL, etc.).
• DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• High availability, disaster recovery, data replication, performance tuning.
