Heavy Equipment Operator – Geocycle Plant

About the role

Holcim is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for its Geocycle plant in Cartago. The position involves rotating shifts and requires safe, efficient handling of client waste materials while adhering to operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment according to established procedures.
• Load, secure, and transport client material on assigned machines.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform load conditioning, securing, and stabilization tasks.
• Execute work at heights, pumping operations, area cleaning, and barricade installation as required.
• Deliver timely, professional service to clients, meeting their expectations.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (technical certifications in machinery operation are a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance.
