Forward Deployed Engineer (TypeScript + AI)

About the role

FullStack is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with enterprise clients, identify real AI opportunities, architect solutions, and deliver production‑ready systems. This remote, Latin‑America focused role blends consulting, operations, and hands‑on engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops, separate genuine AI problems from workflow issues, and produce scoped, defensible proposals.
• Design end‑to‑end agentic systems, including orchestration, context retrieval, tool integration, guardrails, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Build and ship working agents, multi‑step automations, internal tooling, and integration layers.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for the solutions you create, handling build, test, release, and environment management.
• Present and defend architectural decisions to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leaders, quantifying impact.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1‑4 years of experience delivering production LLM‑powered or agentic AI systems.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to lead client‑facing discovery calls and translate business problems into technical roadmaps.

Required skills

• TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go
• Frontier AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex
• APIs, service design, event‑driven and distributed systems, data modeling
• CI/CD pipeline design and ownership
• Enterprise integration patterns, webhooks, iPaaS platforms (n8n, MuleSoft)
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
