Finance Manager – Tariff & Supply Chain Accounting

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Finance Manager to lead global tariff accounting processes. The role focuses on month‑end close, tariff master data governance, exposure tracking, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close activities, including tariff‑related journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and cost driver assessments.
• Maintain and validate tariff master data against changing global rulesets.
• Analyze tariff exposures and cost impacts to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with global trade, supply chain, and ISC finance teams to deliver financial insights.
• Communicate accounting policies and ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and global tariff regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation for tariff reporting and data management.
• Support system enhancements and transformation initiatives related to tariff accounting.
• Own assigned areas while fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
