Finance Manager, Enterprise FP&A

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Enterprise FP&A team at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease. The role will own the consolidated budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the enterprise, providing insight and commentary to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of In‑Year and Mid‑Term financial planning processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions across Commercial Finance, Operations, R&D and G&A.
• Maintain the Enterprise FP&A calendar and define presentation and consolidation standards aligned with Group requirements.
• Partner with Global Financial Services to align processes, timelines and deliverables across planning and reporting cycles.
• Prepare periodic consolidated management reports, monitor performance versus budget/forecast and drive corrective actions.
• Drive standardisation and simplification of reporting, creating new tools, dashboards and data views.
• Identify and implement AI, machine‑learning and advanced‑analytics opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity across SAP, Anaplan and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik) and collaborate with IT and Accounting to resolve anomalies.
• Provide direction, coaching and development for colleagues, including up‑skilling GFS analysts.

Required profile

• Finance professional with solid experience in FP&A and corporate budgeting/forecasting.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Commercial, R&D, Operations and G&A stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience delivering insights to senior leadership.
• Leadership capability to coach and develop team members.
