Exhibition Officer – World Protected and Conserved Areas Congress

About the role

The Exhibition Officer will work closely with the Event Partnerships Manager to design, plan and deliver the exhibition component of the IUCN World Protected and Conserved Areas Congress. The role ensures smooth execution of all exhibition activities, maintains strong relationships with exhibitors and stakeholders, and aligns delivery with IUCN’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for the Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) and key service providers to meet IUCN exhibition layout and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate logistics for exhibition hall layout, design, production and equipment, respecting IUCN sustainability policy and cultural sensitivities.
• Keep stakeholders informed and provide inputs to direct and functional managers.
• Adjust floor plans based on exhibit sales and other exhibition activities.
• Manage the exhibition stand booking approval process and review exhibitor applications for alignment with IUCN’s mission.
• Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to promote the exhibition and attract high‑quality exhibitors.
