About the role
The Executive Customer Project Manager (Content & Publishing) acts as the primary liaison between customers, content authors, and delivery teams. You will oversee end‑to‑end content operations for multiple initiatives, ensuring that learning material on Microsoft Learn and related platforms is accurate, accessible, and delivered on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full content lifecycle – intake, creation, updates, publishing, and maintenance across Learn and associated platforms.
- Coordinate content updates, resolve broken links, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain index pages, tables of contents, and other structures to improve discoverability.
- Support routine content reviews for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with platform changes.
- Partner with stakeholders to align content with learning objectives and platform standards, providing editorial guidance.
- Contribute to instructional design and identify gaps or outdated material.
- Track work items, timelines, and deliverables using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Monitor content pipelines, communicate risks, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Use GitHub for repository management, version control, and collaboration with contributors.
- Support video publishing workflows, metadata management, and asset linking across platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, publishing, and program teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
Required profile
- Strong project‑management experience coordinating multiple content initiatives.
- Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with content‑management processes and publishing standards.
