English Teacher (Hybrid – In-person & Virtual)

About the role

Join a historic, non‑profit language institute to teach English to learners across Costa Rica. You will deliver lessons both virtually and in‑person at our three campuses, creating engaging, high‑quality learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver English lessons for groups of varying levels.
• Teach in‑person classes at any of the three sites (San Pedro, Sabana, etc.) according to scheduled morning, evening or Saturday slots.
• Conduct virtual sessions using the institute’s online platform.
• Participate in a two‑week orientation training and a 10‑session virtual orientation course.
• Follow CCCN’s teaching principles and curriculum guidelines.

Required profile

• Full command of English (C1 level).
• Bachelor’s degree in English teaching or a related field.
• Costa Rican citizenship or legal permanent residency.
• Availability to teach in‑person and virtual classes, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
• Willingness to complete the mandatory orientation training.
