Engineering Technician – Documentation & ERP Control

About the role

The Engineering Technician is the production‑facing owner of controlled engineering documentation and ERP master data for heavy‑gauge thermoforming programs. You will ensure that SolidWorks/EPDM specifications and NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, and work order packets are accurate, approved, and up‑to‑date before production release.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and release SolidWorks drawings, layouts, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Maintain EPDM/PDM records, metadata, and revision history; manage redlines and legacy drawing cleanup.
• Execute quick‑turn drawing edits and controlled releases to support urgent production needs.
• Create and maintain NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, work instructions, and packaging instructions.
• Perform BOM and inventory hygiene to ensure work order accuracy.
• Administer Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO/EC), route approvals, track progress, and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Initiate, route, and close deviations, documenting classification and approvals.
• Provide immediate support to plant personnel during normal business hours and participate in daily production cadence.
