Engineer II Manufacturing – Alajuela

About the role

Terumo Neuro is seeking an Engineer II Manufacturing to support medical device production in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The role involves ensuring sub‑assemblies and finished products meet specifications through process design, validation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support existing manufacturing processes, new product introductions, and product changes, including tooling and fixture design.
• Validate products, equipment, and processes while interfacing with other departments to resolve production issues.
• Monitor equipment maintenance programs and investigate non‑conformances, NCRs, DCs, and EOs.
• Assist with prototype and pilot production, facilities planning, and related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B1‑B2).
• Ability to work extended periods at a computer, standing or sitting, and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Statistical knowledge (Green Belt or Black Belt).
