Electromecánico 1 – Mantenimiento de Maquinaria

About the role

The Electromechanic will be responsible for maintaining the plant’s electromechanical equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and minimal unplanned stops. This position works on a variety of machines, from motors and pumps to control panels, within a food‑production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance on assigned machines, addressing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults using manual and electronic tools.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance, repairing or replacing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation components.
• Identify required spare parts from manuals, warehouses or catalogs and request quotations.
• Install and commission electrical/electronic control panels for new or existing equipment, and calibrate/adjust machines using testers and gauges.
• Apply food‑safety, quality, environmental, health and occupational safety standards in all activities.
• Report any incidents that could affect product safety to the Quality Assurance department.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor that support plant objectives.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Electromechanics (preferably from INA) or Electronics.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of lubrication, mechanics, hydraulics and chemical handling.
• Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and basic metrology is desirable.
