EHS Safety Training & Insights Specialist

About the role

The Safety Training & Insights Specialist supports Emerson’s Enterprise Safety function by managing safety training in the Global Learning Center platform, providing technical support to users, and turning Safety Council priorities into clear training programs, reporting, and follow‑up actions. Based in Costa Rica, the role ensures consistent execution of safety initiatives across business units and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage user access for business‑unit and site‑level EHS leads, aligning system support with Enterprise Safety governance and Safety Council priorities.
• Assign and deploy safety training to Emerson employees, resolve technical issues, and provide responsive user support.
• Monitor training completion rates, identify trends and gaps, and escalate where needed to support risk reduction.
• Coordinate with local site EHS leaders to ensure compliance with safety training requirements.
• Develop summary documentation and reports for Enterprise Safety leadership and Safety Council updates.
• Create KPI dashboards that give business leaders visibility into completion status, overdue requirements, and priority programs.
• Act as a trusted partner to Enterprise Safety, Sustainability, site EHS leaders, and business‑unit stakeholders, supporting audit programs, risk management initiatives, and communication follow‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in a relevant field.
• 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, training administration, EHS support, or related functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to translate complex safety priorities into actionable training and reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with data‑analytics tools and the ability to identify trends and insights.
