DevOps Engineer – Azure Infrastructure as Code

About the role

Serverless Solutions is looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and support secure Microsoft Azure environments for client‑facing projects. The role follows an Infrastructure as Code philosophy, using Terraform and Azure Landing Zone principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and reusable modules.
• Implement and evolve Azure landing zones based on Microsoft best practices.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and release.
• Automate governance, policy, identity, networking, monitoring, and security controls.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and delivery teams to translate requirements into secure cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and configuration issues in development and production.
• Produce architecture notes, runbooks, implementation plans, diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Participate in after‑hours support when deployments or incidents require it.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure services, governance, identity, networking, security, and monitoring.
• Proven experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience designing or operating Azure landing zones and working with Azure Policy, management groups, subscriptions, and RBAC.
• Familiarity with the Azure Well‑Architected Framework and cloud architecture best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
