Datacenter Engineer – L3/ERT

About the role

The Datacenter Engineer – L3/ERT provides advanced technical support for HPE Aruba products, working in a 24x7 environment and collaborating with global customers and internal teams. The position is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence about two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver troubleshooting and support for Aruba networking solutions, capturing logs and diagnosing incidents to resolution or root‑cause analysis.
• Lead technical problem management, develop action plans for complex issues, and communicate findings to engineers, customers, and managers.
• Contribute to projects that improve product support, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of networking experience, including at least 3 years supporting data‑center technologies.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across multiple countries.

Required skills

• Data‑networking technologies: routing, switching, spine‑and‑leaf and 3‑layer architectures.
• Knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, VPNv4 and related data‑center protocols.
• Security and authentication protocols such as IEEE 802.1x and MAC authentication.
• Programming/scripting with Python and REST/NAE APIs.
• Experience with Aruba OS, Aruba OS‑CX, Comware, and basic WLAN (802.11) concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCIE‑DC, Aruba ACSP.
