Data Scientist Specialist / Applied AI-ML

About the role

Accenture's Reinvention Services applies data science and AI/ML techniques to product and operational problems within its Agora business unit. The specialist works hands-on, prototyping and productionizing data-driven capabilities, integrating them with enterprise applications and workflows, and supporting reliable operation in a cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, evaluate and productionize applied AI/ML capabilities for Agora use cases.
• Use Python and data-processing techniques to prepare, analyze, validate and operationalize data-driven solutions.
• Integrate models, decision logic or intelligent services with APIs, applications, workflows and enterprise systems.
• Define testable acceptance criteria and validation approaches for AI/ML-enabled capabilities.
• Monitor solution behavior, investigate data or performance issues and improve reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, operations and quality teams on delivery and adoption.
• Contribute to reusable AI-assisted engineering, automation, diagnostics and development practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience in data science, applied AI/ML, analytics, machine-learning engineering, software engineering or a closely related technical role; demonstrated applied work can substitute for longer tenure.
• Degree, diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to independently own complex technical work and communicate findings and trade-offs clearly.

Required skills

• Strong Python, analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Applied experience with machine learning, statistical methods, data preparation, model evaluation or AI-enabled applications.
• Understanding of software engineering, testing, security, observability and production support.
• Hands-on capability with Python and practical experience preparing and analyzing data, developing or applying ML/AI techniques, and integrating data-driven capabilities into applications, APIs, workflows or cloud environments.
