Data Scientist (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Data Scientist on a contract basis to turn complex data into actionable insights. You will work 10‑40 hours per week, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive data‑driven decisions. The role offers flexibility to work from any location while contributing to high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse data sets to ensure data integrity.
• Develop, validate, and implement statistical and predictive models.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Create compelling visualizations and reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate on end‑to‑end data projects from ideation through delivery.
• Continuously improve analytical methods and automate data workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques.
• Proven ability to handle and clean large, complex data sets.
• Experience building and validating predictive models.
