Data Governance Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to design and deliver governance frameworks, configure data catalogs, define data quality rules, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure trustworthy data across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance operating models and frameworks for enterprise clients.
• Configure and maintain data catalogs (e.g., Atlan, Collibra, Alation, Purview) including business glossaries, asset onboarding, lineage, and stewardship workflows.
• Define data quality rules with business stakeholders and produce scorecards or dashboards to monitor quality over time.
• Partner with data engineers, using SQL and cloud platforms such as Snowflake, to automate data quality checks.
• Facilitate workshops and create communication, training, and change‑management plans to drive adoption.
• Run data issue management processes from triage through root‑cause analysis to remediation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data governance or data management, including at least one client engagement where you led framework design and implementation.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Atlan, Collibra, CDMP) are a plus.
