Cybersecurity Intern

About the role

Join Moody's Fusion Center as a Cybersecurity Intern and support 24/7 monitoring and response operations. You will gain hands‑on experience investigating security events, using industry‑leading tools, and learning how AI can enhance cyber defenses.

Key responsibilities

• Review, investigate, and escalate security events from internal and external sources.
• Use SIEM, SOAR and other tools to collect evidence and support incident response.
• Analyze threat intelligence feeds and develop tactics to mitigate future threats.
• Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and vendor solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in a technology‑related field, graduating around 2028.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 operation.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of operating systems, networks and security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and interest in responsible AI practices.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+ or CEH are a plus.
