Customer Support Associate – French & English

About the role

Convera is looking for a bilingual Customer Support Associate to join its Costa Rica office. You will deliver best‑in‑class care to customers in both French and English, handling inquiries from first contact through resolution while ensuring a positive brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service across inbound, outbound and e‑service channels in a high‑volume environment.
• Identify and resolve customer issues quickly, devising solutions with limited information.
• Drive first‑contact resolution and continuously improve processes.
• Understand and apply regulatory requirements, handling requests from global regulators such as FCA, FMA, UK FOS, and AFCA.
• Participate in projects, support leadership with management information, regulatory and analytical reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma; minimum 1 year of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution and time‑management abilities.
• Self‑starter attitude, able to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
• Calm and resilient when facing challenges.
