Customer Project/Program Management Specialist

About the role

The Customer Project/Program Management Specialist (Consumption Service Specialist) leads customer engagements to ensure projects meet scope, time, budget and quality expectations. This hybrid role requires working on average two days per week from an HPE office in Heredia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of customer projects, including financials, P&L and budget compliance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing projects.
• Maintain client relationships at mid to senior levels and represent HPE externally.
• Lead project teams of up to 20 members, mentor staff and provide performance feedback.
• Support qualification and assessment of large and moderately complex opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree (first level) with at least 5 years of project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage medium to high‑risk, moderately complex projects across legal and commercial domains.
• Experience handling project financials, forecasting and meeting SOAR‑approved budgets.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of HPE Services operational policies, processes and project‑management methodologies.
• Participation in the company PM Professionals community and progression toward PMP certification.
