Country Finance Manager – Costa Rica

About the role

Deel is seeking a Country Finance Manager to lead all financial activities in Costa Rica. This senior position will ensure accurate accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting while supporting the company’s rapid growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and develop all financial processes in Costa Rica, including accounting, tax compliance, and period‑end closing.
• Prepare and manage ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports for social security, insurance, pension authorities, and other regulators.
• Reconcile all balance‑sheet accounts, including intercompany banking, customers, vendors, and accruals.
• Monitor day‑to‑day transactions, maintain up‑to‑date books, and produce comprehensive financial and administrative reports.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with proven experience in managing accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to scale finance operations in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
