About the role

Deel is looking for a Country Finance Manager to lead all financial activities in Costa Rica. The role will be responsible for overseeing accounting, tax compliance and financial reporting, ensuring the business scales efficiently within the country.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and develop all financial operations in Costa Rica, including accounting, tax compliance and period‑end closing.
Prepare and manage ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits and contributions reports for social security, insurance and pension authorities.
Reconcile all balance‑sheet accounts such as intercompany banking, customers, vendors and accruals, guaranteeing accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Monitor day‑to‑day transactions, maintain up‑to‑date books and produce comprehensive financial and administrative reports.

Required profile

Qualified accountant with proven experience managing accounting, tax and financial functions.
Demonstrated ability to handle financial reporting and compliance in Costa Rica.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
