About the role

The Licenses and Permits Coordinator ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all growth projects, safeguarding the operational continuity of stores, distribution centers and plants. Acting as the company’s strategic liaison with state regulators, the role leads the end‑to‑end licensing cycle from pre‑feasibility to operational launch.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of operational permits and licenses, including acquisition, renewal, modifications and expiration tracking for retail, logistics and production sites.
• Represent the organization before regulatory bodies, municipalities, ministries and other government agencies, handling negotiations, inspections and compliance requests.
• Ensure adherence to health, labor, environmental, urban‑planning, construction, import/export and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Design, Construction, Real Estate, Legal, Quality and Logistics teams to guarantee business continuity and successful project delivery.
• Maintain indicators, reports and tracking platforms to ensure traceability, deadline compliance and continuous improvement of regulatory processes.
• Identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid sanctions, operational closures or reputational damage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Proven experience in regulatory permits, licensing management and compliance with governmental institutions.
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2) and a valid B1 driving licence with own vehicle.

Required skills

• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with project‑tracking and management tools.
