Content Editor – Medical Writing

About the role

Join Roche’s growing medical writing team as a Content Editor, where you will ensure high‑quality medical and healthcare content across multiple digital formats. You will work closely with writers, subject‑matter experts and marketing teams to deliver clear, accurate and engaging material.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit and fact‑check medical content for various formats (articles, blog posts, social media, website copy, promotional materials) ensuring accuracy, tone and clarity.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with Roche brand guidelines, regulatory requirements and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with writers, SMEs, marketing and business partners to provide feedback and support professional development.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across therapeutic areas, monitoring deadlines and workload.
• Engage resources through formal and informal networks to meet goals and recommend service‑level improvements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience as an editor or content reviewer, native‑level English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, life sciences or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, consistency and clarity with a passion for medical/healthcare topics.

Required skills

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and standard digital marketing tools.
