Construction Procurement Manager

About the role

Utopia is seeking a Construction Procurement Manager to lead the full tendering cycle for its luxury hospitality construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, design and technical teams, and estimators to ensure competitive, well‑documented bids and the selection of the right contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble complete tender packages (drawings, Bills of Quantities, contract drafts, RFPs) in collaboration with project and design teams.
• Build and maintain contractor databases, creating long‑lists and short‑lists for each trade.
• Issue RFPs/ITTs, manage contractor queries, and keep an audit trail of all correspondence.
• Coordinate site visits, collect quotations, and ensure timely, comparable submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and key contract conditions with shortlisted contractors.
• Prepare bid comparison tables with estimators and present clear recommendations.
• Support handover from tender award to contract execution and maintain organized tender registers and trackers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in tendering, procurement, or construction contracting.
