Communications Internship – CSR & PR Support

About the role

This 6‑month to 1‑year internship supports Essity’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) and public relations activities in Costa Rica. You will help communicate the company’s values, assist with product launch PR, and contribute to community outreach initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design impactful community outreach programs.
• Monitor and report on CSR activity outcomes, ensuring measurable results.
• Communicate Essity’s CSR efforts to internal and external audiences.
• Manage relationships with NGOs such as Chepe se Baña.
• Support the PR agency in following up with key media outlets for positive coverage.
• Align local PR actions with the regional communication framework for consistent brand representation.
• Oversee implementation of the corporate communication strategy in the region.
• Provide strategic support to brand teams, integrating corporate elements into campaigns.
• Act as the main liaison between brand teams and the PR agency.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate seeking experience in communications.
• Background in media management, corporate communications/PR, marketing or event management.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities with knowledge of the local market.
• Availability for a 6‑month to 1‑year internship.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
