Commercial Sales Representative - Logistics Solutions

About the role

A full-time Commercial Sales Representative position based in San Jose, Costa Rica, within the Sales & Marketing department. The role focuses on selling ocean, air, trucking, warehousing and logistics solutions to businesses with international shipping and logistics needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers and identify companies with international shipping and logistics needs
• Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors and retailers
• Sell ocean, air, trucking, warehousing and logistics solutions
• Follow up consistently and close new business, while managing and growing the customer base
• Work closely with Operations to ensure excellent customer service
• Meet monthly sales and gross profit goals and objectives

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation or supply chain is preferred
• Existing customer relationships in logistics or international trade are a major advantage
• Self-motivated, organized, persistent and able to work independently

Required skills

• Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to build relationships with decision-makers at any level of an organization
