Commercial Growth Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Commercial Growth Manager will be responsible for recovering and expanding the Costa Rica business portfolio in logistics, courier and freight forwarding. You will lead win‑back initiatives, acquire new high‑volume customers and build a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Recover and grow existing accounts by meeting customers, diagnosing issues and presenting tailored proposals.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities, separating recovery from acquisition.
• Lead, train and coach commercial associates, set targets and align variable pay with revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Marketing to ensure feasible offers and drive B2B demand generation.
• Report weekly on pipeline, wins, losses and forecast against targets using CRM and AI tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, International Business or related field.
• 5–10 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a proven record of new‑business acquisition.
• Deep knowledge of freight forwarding, courier or cross‑border logistics in Latin America.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with a valid Costa Rican driver’s license and passport.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, hands‑on, and able to hold senior stakeholders accountable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline and data management.
• Experience using AI tools for analysis, proposal generation and reporting.
