Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – AWS

About the role

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, build and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for Experian Health’s cloud platform. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code, reusable cloud patterns, EKS operations and security best practices in a multi‑account AWS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Create reusable modules and standardized cloud patterns.
• Build, maintain and optimise Amazon EKS environments.
• Partner with application teams to onboard and support cloud‑native workloads.
• Implement and enforce AWS security best practices (IAM, networking, encryption, logging).
• Troubleshoot and continuously improve cloud reliability, automation and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in hands‑on AWS infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Proficiency with core AWS services (VPC, EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, Load Balancers).
• Experience working with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS.
• Solid understanding of AWS networking and cloud security fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
