Cloud Architect – Remote (Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to provide architecture consulting remotely from Costa Rica. The role involves designing, implementing and supporting Azure‑based solutions and guiding customers through migration, cost optimisation and disaster‑recovery planning.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed implementation road‑maps for IaaS and PaaS environments on Azure, including DR strategies.
• Evaluate migration costs, select appropriate VM sizes and recommend the optimal Azure services.
• Plan and build Azure infrastructure such as Virtual Networks, site‑to‑site VPNs, ExpressRoute, and implement Azure Site Recovery.
• Consult on RFPs and develop technical proposals that align with business value.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of JSON templates, Visual Studio and PowerShell scripting.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and ability to analyse existing infrastructure and design future‑state solutions.
• Experience with Azure PaaS resources (SQL, Web Apps, Application Gateway, CDN, AD authentication).
