Cloud Architect – Hybrid (Costa Rica)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team in Costa Rica on a hybrid basis. You will work closely with customer application teams to design, document, and guide cloud solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architecture consulting, governance, and reviews for cloud solutions.
• Create architecture artifacts and documentation for cloud deployments.
• Assist application teams with risk assessments and cloud service vetting.
• Resolve complex engineering issues, develop new solutions, and run proof‑of‑concepts.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives and deliver value‑focused recommendations.
• Design detailed implementation road‑maps for DR, IaaS, and PaaS environments on Azure.
• Plan and implement Azure networking, VPN/ExpressRoute, VM migrations, and Site Recovery.
• Develop technology road‑maps and articulate business value of cloud solutions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse existing infrastructure and design future‑state solutions.
• Proven experience delivering architecture artifacts and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Capability to manage multiple opportunities and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
