About the role
EBANX is seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead its growth across Central America and the Caribbean. You will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market share, and diversifying payment solutions in a fast‑growing fintech environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own market volume and revenue growth, achieving regional targets.
- Manage relationships with merchants, partners, acquirers, banks, processors, and government agencies.
- Increase share of wallet, promote new payment methods, and ensure vertical diversification.
- Negotiate cost rates, maintain competitive pricing, and drive cost efficiency.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, analyze market data, and close performance gaps.
- Monitor project progress, coordinate with legal, tax, operations, product, and performance teams.
- Co‑lead marketing and PR initiatives, launch campaigns with partners, and represent EBANX at regional events.
- Provide market intelligence, evaluate competitors, and create contingency plans.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling escalations.
Required profile
- Native Spanish speaker with fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
- Proven background in financial services, payments, e‑commerce, or technology.
- Strategic experience working on projects within the payments sector.
- Deep knowledge of the Central America and Caribbean payments and e‑commerce ecosystem, with established industry relationships.
