CADD/BIM Technician II – Structural

About the role

Ulteig is seeking a CADD/BIM Technician II to support utility‑scale solar photovoltaic and battery storage projects. The role works closely with structural design teams to develop detailed foundation and pile designs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project engineers to produce detailed structural foundation designs.
• Develop and refine design and drafting standards for projects.
• Create AutoCAD drawings focusing on structural details, foundation plans, and pile design.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and support special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Associate or technical degree in Drafting or equivalent.
• 3+ years of progressive drafting support experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Authorization to work legally in Costa Rica.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
• Experience with Autodesk Revit (preferred).
• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
