Buyer Associate, Global Procurement Shared Services (GPCS)

About the role

As a Buyer Associate in Global Procurement Shared Services, you will support North America and LATAM business units, handling operational purchasing tasks, vendor onboarding, and compliance checks. The position is onsite at Amazon’s SJO11 building in San José, Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Approve PR2PO requests and perform compliance checks.
• Provide PO support, including transmission, delivery queries, and POD accuracy.
• Maintain catalogs, assist the helpdesk, and support vendor onboarding.
• Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and KPI targets for standard tasks.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Participate in cross‑functional improvement projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer‑service experience.
• Legally authorized to work in Costa Rica.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
