Business Teacher – MYP & Diploma Programme

About the role

We are seeking a fully bilingual Business Teacher to deliver the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme to Grades 9‑11. The role involves connecting classroom learning with real‑world business cases, entrepreneurship, economics and current market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Business at MYP and Diploma Programme levels.
• Develop unit planners, yearly plans and course outlines aligned with IB requirements.
• Record planning and assessment evidence in ManageBac within institutional deadlines.
• Prepare students for DP assessments through clear guidance, feedback and academic support.
• Design engaging learning experiences using real business cases, projects, presentations, discussions and inquiry‑based activities.
• Collaborate with programme coordinators and the academic team.
• Communicate with students and families through official school channels.
• Promote student wellbeing and provide appropriate supervision at all times.
• Model the IB Learner Profile attributes in daily practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (preferably C2) and fluency in Spanish.
• Experience in similar teaching positions, preferably with knowledge of the IB MYP and/or Diploma Programme.
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork and digital skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, execute and monitor educational projects.
• Professional experience leading, managing or advising companies is highly valued.
• Immediate availability.
