BIM Specialist - Prefab

About the role

The BIM Specialist – Prefab will join Power Design’s pre‑construction team to produce accurate, cost‑effective electrical design plans for large‑scale projects. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will collaborate with engineers, project managers and designers to deliver high‑quality BIM models and drawings that meet project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and refine electrical design plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare and manage external references (xrefs) such as architectural, mechanical and plumbing drawings.
• Coordinate with project management and design teams to ensure drawings align with schedule and deliverables.
• Maintain quality standards and adhere to NEC requirements.
• Support international travel and project coordination as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of CADD experience, preferably with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality output.
• Fluent written and spoken English for client and team communication.
• Valid U.S. visa and ability to travel internationally.
