BIM Specialist (Costa Rica)

About the role

Power Design is seeking a BIM Specialist to support its fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary design projects. The role focuses on creating accurate, cost‑effective electrical design plans while collaborating with project teams and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and manage electrical design drawings using BIM tools.
• Prepare and integrate external references (xrefs) such as architectural, mechanical, and plumbing drawings for large‑scale projects.
• Provide high‑level BIM modeling and drafting support to Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Systems Technologies, and Prefabrication teams.
• Ensure drawings meet project milestones, quality standards, and deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• General electrical knowledge, including familiarity with the NEC.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication with clients and colleagues.
