Billings Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Billings Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of Billing Specialists in our new hybrid hub in Costa Rica. The role involves managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, build and mentor the billing team.
• Develop, write, and update billing policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
• Review and manage service tickets, ensuring accurate responses.
• Ensure accuracy of billing reports and use metrics to assess team productivity.
• Evaluate billing processes, recommend improvements, and coordinate audit and compliance activities, including SOX controls.
• Resolve complex billing matters and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Review multi‑year contracts and related sales orders.
• Coordinate with various departments to support monthly and quarterly close procedures.

Required profile

• B.S./B.A. in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience with at least 1 year supervising or managing employees.
• Strong critical‑thinking, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of finance, especially credit, billing, and collections (accounts receivable).
• Ability to work independently and as a team player, handling pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Oracle and Salesforce is a plus.
