Behavior Support Provider (Temporary Contract)

About the role

Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Special Education and the Behavior Analyst, you will deliver evidence‑based behavioral strategies and supports to students with individualized positive behavior intervention plans as part of their IEPs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement intensive behavioral, academic, and social learning experiences for students with special needs.
• Prepare materials, collect and maintain behavioral data, and monitor student progress.
• Consult and collaborate with district and site staff, supporting teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Assist students transitioning to the least restrictive environment and regularly consult with the Behavior Analyst.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Associate’s degree or two years of college study in psychology, child development, or a related field.
• Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or completion of 40‑hour RBT training with eligibility for certification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Willingness to obtain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification and maintain a valid California driver’s license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.
