Associate Sewer – Manufacturing Sewing Technician

About the role

Performs sewing work to support manufacturing and production activities, following established procedures and guidance. The position involves assembling valve components in a clean‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use tools such as needles, scissors, forceps, specialized tooling, and a microscope to perform sewing steps in valve assembly.
• Verify completed steps against specifications and conduct successive checks on colleagues' work.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and record traceable information on device history records.
• Maintain regular attendance and work full shifts, including housekeeping of the work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sewing, GMP, clean‑room, or medical‑device experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures (English preferred).
• Knowledge of environmental health, safety, and quality guidelines for clean‑room manufacturing.
• Team‑oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision.
