Associate Electrical Designer

About the role

The Associate Electrical Designer joins Power Design’s engineering team to support large‑scale projects. You will model electrical and mechanical systems, perform calculations and photometric studies, and design equipment connections while collaborating with Revit CADD technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design solutions for electrical and mechanical systems, balancing code compliance, client needs, and budget constraints.
• Work with Revit CADD technicians to ensure constructability and quality of drawings.
• Apply electrical codes (IBC, IECC, NEC, ASHRAE) to lighting, power, telecom, and fire‑alarm systems.
• Conduct photometric studies, short‑circuit analysis, and voltage‑drop calculations.

Required profile

• Team‑player with a customer‑focused mindset and ability to adapt in a fast‑changing environment.
• Quick learner with some electrical and mechanical design experience; a Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; US Visa is a plus for travel related onboarding.
