Assistant Director, Experience Designer

About the role

Moody's is seeking an Assistant Director of Experience Design to lead the creation of intuitive mobile and web interfaces that empower customers to navigate risk with confidence. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, applying user‑centered design methods across multiple concurrent product initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑user experiences for Moody's digital products, ensuring visual and interaction quality.
• Collaborate with product strategists, engineers, and senior leadership to translate business goals into compelling UI solutions.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to senior stakeholders and customers.
• Incorporate AI considerations and responsible AI practices into design workflows.
• Maintain design systems and ensure consistency across platforms.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of experience designing mobile and web interfaces.
• Strong interaction and visual design expertise with a portfolio that demonstrates impact.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and thrive in a team setting.
• Interest in AI concepts and willingness to learn responsible AI practices.
• Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent; experience in a financial environment is a plus.
